PROJECT: AROUND THE BLOCK, WORKSHOP
WITH: ASPHALT PILOTEN
DEUTSCHE TAGE ASTRACHAN, RUSSIA (MAY 2015)
For the festival "Deutsche Tage in Astrachan" the artists of ASPHALT PILOTEN were invited to Astrakhan. ASPHALT PILOTEN worked intense with students of the state Conservatory for 2 weeks in the city and created the sound- and video installation AROUND THE BLOCK. The students learned about dance and movement in public space and the possible perspectives of the camera lens. The festival took place in the Astrakhan district "Dritter Südwesten". The work in Astrakhan with all the students and citizens made ASPHALT PILOTEN enormous happy.

The festival is created by the Robert Bosch Foundation in a special cooperation with the Goethe Institution for the Russian Federation.
